I dated Don when we were Juniors. I met his wonderful family and we had a lot of fun together. It was a short high school romance, but we stayed friends until I moved to California. He was a really fun, nice guy to me. What a loss!

I remember going to Don’s house with Linda, his sister; Linda and I were friends in 5th grade (same class room) and we would visit Mrs. Whitlock (5th grade teacher) who lived in the same neighborhood and then go to the Guccione house. Don and Linda’s dad worked for a radio station and had hundreds of 45 RPM singles; we would listen to the tunes and eat cheese sandwiches, AKA Wonder Bread with Velveeta slices in-between.
