Went all through high school with Al. Had many classes with him and he was a real character. We had a blast! I just could not believe it when I had heard he got killed. But I still laugh to this day when I think of him from those days. Lawrence A. Koessel
tribute by Lawrence A. KoesselI remember Allen as a really fun person who was always ready for an adventure. I was stationed at Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital when my mom sent me Allen's obituary clipping from the newspaper. It made me very sad to lose such a fun loving friend. I never forgot him.
