TEBBE, GLENN L. on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the age of 70. Beloved boyfriend of Christine L. Nicolay; dear son of Jeanne M. and the late Elmer F. Tebbe; loving dad of Kristina L. (Matt Scheer) Tebbe; favorite brother of Sandy (Paul) Romo; our dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Glenn proudly served his country in the US Army during Vietnam. He was the Co-Owner of Tebbe Furniture and Upholstery in Spanish Lake and worked as a Superintendent in the Carpenters Union Local 1596. He was a great foster dad to many dogs over the years.

Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

VISITATION SUNDAY, FEB. 6, FROM 4-8 PM at HUTCHENS MORTUARY AND CREMATION CENTER, 675 GRAHAM RD., FLORISSANT, MO 63031.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Stray Paws Rescue, 330 Depot St., St. Peters, MO 63376.

A photo of Glenn in uniform appeared with his obituary. The insignia on his uniform indicates that Glenn served as a Sergeant with the United States Army 25th Infantry Division in Vietnam. The 25th Infantry Division was activated in 1941 two months before Pearl Harbor and nicknamed “Tropic Lightning.” From a distance, I always perceived Glenn as being more grown up than the rest of us. I am not sure if that was the case, but it seemed so to me. My heart goes out to Glenn's loved ones, family and friends.
