About the RamSite
Jane Byers - Dave Hartley - Kathie Merinbaum Galucia
Our RamSite was designed and created on the MyEvent website platform. Jane Byers headed up the effort. Dave Hartley (in California at the time) initially helped research website platforms and brainstormed site design and page layouts with Jane. His skills and talents are on display where yearbook pictures (including the individual Senior class pictures), photos (except Photo Albums) and other images appear. Of special note is the work he did to create the composite pictures featured on Roll Call, Wanted Classmates and The Dirty Dozen. Kathie Merinbaum Galucia contributed invaluable insights and suggestions as we were building the site and employed her proofreading skills. She and Jane also brainstormed ways to make the RamSite more user-friendly. Finally, the support we have received from the MyEvent staff in Montreal, Canada and New York City has been exemplary and inventive.
We consider the RamSite a work in progress and, in the next few months, we'll be adding and supplementing pages from time to time. Ideas are percolating. Check back often. If you have suggestions, Contact Us. We are open to your ideas.
Working with Dave and Kathie has been a real pleasure. The contributions made by these two smart, thoughtful and talented individuals gave this project a tremendous boost. As with our RamSite launched in 2008 and retired in 2016, I loved building this new Class of 69 RamSite. It is a true source of enjoyment for me. Through it all, my guiding principle has been that our RamSite should facilitate the promotion of our 50-Year Reunion and our communications with one another.
I hope the RamSite triggers fond memories of your experiences at RGHS, including the accomplishments, the successes, the fun and the laughs, in spite of the disappointments, the failures and the heartaches. I hope the RamSite transports you back to the spirited times we shared during our high school years and gives you an appreciation for the bond we continue to share 50 years on. Most of all, I hope the RamSite inspires you to come to our 50th and spend a little time with the Class of 69. See you on September 14, 2019!
